Three-year grant (approximately US 15,000) to undertake study on Family Consume Habits in Leisure and Tourism – Principal Investigator (PI).

2006–2008 FAPESP – The State of São Paulo Research Foundation

Two-year grant (approximately US 120,000) to undertake study on tourism marketing on several segments, including rural, conference and adventure tourism in the Ribeirão Preto Region – (PI).

2001 – 2005 CAPES Foundation – Brazilian Ministry of Education

Four-year scholarship (US 132,000) granted to undertake a PhD in Tourism Management at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
